My name is Svenja Dehler, I am 23 years old and I am studying History and Spanish at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in Germany with the prospect of working as a teacher after I graduate. In addition to my regular studies I have enrolled for the master’s program Interkulturelle Germanistik / Deutsch als Fremdsprache (German as a Foreign Language / Intercultural German Studies). Not only during my actual studies am I constantly in contact with different countries and cultures but already before I even started university did I have the opportunity to go to Peru for three months where I stayed with a Peruvian family in Lima. In addition to this (memorable) experience, I signed up for student exchange programs to France as well as England. Last year, I went abroad to study and live in Madrid, Spain where I acquired a lot of knowledge, especially in the (inter-)cultural area. As the exchange with other cultures is very fulfilling and rewarding I am also involved in the so-called Studium International in Göttingen.

I am Isabelle, 22 years old and I was born in beautiful Berlin. I am currently finishing my Bachelor's Degree in German and Romance Languages an Literature at the University of Erfurt. During my studies I spent a month in southern Spain and attended also a language school. The valuable experience I do not want to miss anyway. It showed me that you can`t learn a language anywhere else better than locally. Through many tandem partnerships I've noticed that it gives me great pleasure to convey the German language. Following my undergraduate studies, I therefore would like to complete the master Deutsch als Fremdsprache that I can work as a Foreign Language teacher.
I would now like to pass on my experiences with the team of GOAL-Germany that learning the German language coupled with cultural experiences will be a lot of fun! I love to learn other languages, because there is no better way for me to discover the world and other cultures.

Country Manager Italy
Hi, my name is Davide Weiss, I am 19 years old and come from the Fassa Valley, right in the middle of the Dolomites (Italy). Currently I’m studying Economics and Management at the University of Trento. During a language course in Germany I got the idea to spend there a exchange year, what I actually did the following year. My experience shows that a language summer course can be the first step for a personal further development. For this reason I decided to campaign for GOAL-Germany.
